Ylem Parto offers a Pug Mixers are similar to ribbon blender except for the

suspending, emulsifying, deaerating, tempering, accelerating chemical or
physical reactions, granulating, breaking down agglomerates.
Concept
• This is the most versatile agitator we build. It contains an equal number of forward and reversing paddles which constantly move the ingredients from one end of the mixer's tank to the other.Paddles, which move material toward the outlet, are fitted to the bottom of the tank.
• Unloading is also faster and clean out more thorough due to the fact only the forward paddles come in contact with the material in the tank when the last part of the load is being discharged.
• The paddles are positioned to move the material in opposing lateral directions as well as radially. The paddle design is generally employed where friable materials are being blended.
• Paddle blender consists of several elements: a centrally mounted horizontal shaft that rotates within a cylindrical container, paddles, ploughs or other shaped mixing elements that are attached to the centrally mounted shaft, special openings at the top for feeding materials, flush fitting access doors at the front of the mixer, a flush fitting discharge valve at the bottom of the mixer, which is pneumatically or manually operated, inside a cylindrical conduit and a complete drive unit.
